La Porte, IN - In the whirlwind of recent weeks, Nathan Kutansky, a talented sophomore at La Lumiere School, has been riding the crest of success. It all began this past Saturday when Nathan received the call of a lifetime, as the illustrious Kingston Frontenacs chose him in the 14th round, marking him as the 281st overall pick in the prestigious OHL Priority Draft.
But that was just the latest jewel in Kutansky's crown. Just one week prior, he and his teammates from the Chicago Mission hockey team embarked on a remarkable journey to Fargo, North Dakota. Their mission? Nothing short of clinching the coveted USA Hockey National Championship title.
In an epic showdown against fierce adversaries, including the formidable #5 ranked Long Island Gulls in the final, Kutansky and his squad emerged in triumph, etching their names in hockey history books with a resounding 4-1 victory, winning the Tier 1 15O National Championship and solidifying their end of season ranking as the #1 team in the United States.
Congratulations to Nathan Kutansky
