Lakers Turn It Up In HoopHall Classic Victory

Springfield, MA - In a remarkable performance at the 22nd Annual Spalding HoopHall Classic, the La Lumiere boys' national team secured a decisive victory against Sunrise Christian Academy with a final score of 75-64.

The Lakers demonstrated offensive prowess by shooting an impressive 51% from the field, making 30-of-58 attempts. Their accuracy extended to beyond the arc, where they connected on 8-of-21 shots. This sharpshooting was complemented by a strong defensive showing, forcing Sunrise Christian Academy into committing 14 turnovers. 

Key standouts for the Lakers, included Jerry Easter II, Ace Buckner, and Darius Adams. All three players played pivotal roles in the win. Easter contributed 23 points and seven rebounds, Buckner showcased his skills with 19 points, six assists, and three blocks, while Adams made a significant impact with 13 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Buckner controlled the tempo at the point the enitre game. He also registered two thunder dunks down the lane to send a buzz throughout the arena. 

With this victory, the Lakers' overall record now stands at 10-3, including a 4-3 record in EYBL. Looking ahead, La Lumiere is set to face Arizona Compass tomorrow, with the tip-off scheduled for 12:30 PM CT.
