Benton, KY - In an exciting away game at the Marshall County HoopFest, the La Lumiere National Basketball team showcased their skills on the court, facing off against Orangeville Prep on Thursday afternoon.
Ace Buckner spearheaded the offensive charge, leading the Lakers with an impressive 15 points. Jerry Easter II demonstrated his scoring prowess with a solid 12 points, while Chuck Love III added 10 points in the victory.
The Lakers asserted their dominance early, heading into halftime with a commanding 40-20 lead. The first-half performance was marked by La Lumiere's effective offensive plays and tight defense, leaving Orangeville Prep struggling to keep pace. All nine players on the La Lumiere roster contributed points during the game.
With this win, La Lumiere National Basketball team maintained their unblemished record, now standing at a perfect 6-0 for the season. La Lumiere will return to the court on Friday night as they take on Oak Hill Academy. Tip is slated for 7:00 PM.
