La Porte, IN - In a thrilling Friday night showdown, the undefeated La Lumiere Lakers national boys' basketball team showcased their dominance as they hosted Chicago Prep. The Lakers wasted no time asserting their authority, storming out of the gates with a formidable 14-0 run that set the tone for the entire game. As the first half unfolded, La Lumiere continued to impose their will on the court, finishing the initial two quarters with a commanding 50-26 lead.

The Lakers' perfect season remained intact as they secured a convincing 77-61 victory by the final buzzer. The win was a testament to La Lumiere's well-rounded team, with five players registering double figures in points.
