Tegt and Vanderveen Take Solo 1st and 2nd at New Prairie Invite

La Lumiere Boys Golf opened the season with an impressive performance, finishing 2nd out of 20 teams at the New Prairie Invitational with a team score of 327.

Leading the way was Cam Tegt, who captured 1st place individually with an outstanding 1-under 71. Close behind, Jack Vanderveen delivered a strong round of 75 to earn solo 2nd place, giving La Lumiere a dominant presence at the top of the leaderboard.

Danny Shuck contributed an 81, and rounding out the team score was Oscar O'Donnell Mace who helped to edge out Northridge by 6 strokes. Both Oscar O'Donnell-Mace and Finn Nelson played in their first ever 18-hole event for La Lumiere. This was an excellent result and learning opportunity to start the season. With four more 18-hole invitationals ahead, the Lakers are well-positioned to build momentum and continue improving.
