In a thrilling showdown, the La Lumiere Lakers boys soccer team triumphed over Hammond Morton with a decisive 3-1 victory. Leading the charge was David Wonink, who delivered an outstanding hat trick for the Lakers. His first goal came early in the match, assisted by Luca Asanaka, his other two goals in the 2nd half were assisted by Daniel De Arriba and Eric Tseng. The Lakers now begin their quest for the SSAC Championship, starting Tuesday at home against Portage Christian.
