It was all Lady Lakers today! The girls basketball team went on the road, defeating Bethany Christian 58-34. The squad were led by Lauren Walsh, who scored 29 points this afternoon. Up 26-13 at half, the team went on a 15-0 run to propel their way to victory. The team shared the rock well, assisting on 16 of 23 made baskets, including 5 assists from Sophomore Lily Hart. Lily added 12 points as well, Allie Zolvinski scored 8 points, Loyalty Scott (3 points), Eve Walker (2 points), Kali Irvine (2 points) all contributed in the scoring department for the victory. Sophomore Carmen Navarro scored 2 points as well, collecting her first varsity points! Next up for the team is a match up at South Bend Adams Tuesday night, with a 5 PM CST tip off. Way to go Lady Lakers!
