The La Lumiere Girls Basketball team went on the road and came out victorious, 53-45 over Elkhart Christian Academy. The Lakers trailed at halftime 23-18, but were propelled by 12 points from Lauren Walsh in the 4th quarter that ultimately decided the game. The team shot 45% from 3, and assisted on 15 of 21 field goals as a group. Walsh finished with 29 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds to lead all Lakers. Allie Zolvinski added 14 points, Loyalty Scott scored 6 points, and Lily Hart and Adri Forker each scored 2 points for the Lakers. Next up, the team travels to East Chicago Central HS on Monday, November 19th. Way to go Lakers!
