Coaching Philosophy
Coaching and working with young students is a privilege. I’ve always tried to live up to that while coaching young people over the years. Honesty, hard work, team building and helping students build character are key factors in coaching. I stress the importance of representing La Lumiere in all they do.
Personal Information
Jerry and his wife Claudia have been married 52 years and live in La Porte. Claudia is a former teacher at La Porte Middle School and currently its Librarian since 1980. She was the
Cross Country coach there for many years and coached Michael Fout, who became the National High School Cross Country champion his senior year.
