The La Lumiere boys and girls cross country team started off the 2024 campaign at the Richard Jay Invitational hosted by Hammond Morton HS. Laker freshman Zen Wendt started off his high school career strong, finishing 13th overall!

Ahan Chawla and Grace Cappas ran their first race of the year for the Lakers, and were among the first 30 finishers.

The Lakers next race is Tuesday, September 3rd when they travel to Bremen High School. The meet is scheduled to start at 5:00 PM CST, and will take place at Jane's Park – Woodies Lane, Bremen, IN.
