La Porte, IN - The La Lumiere Lakers regional basketball team secured a decisive 101-55 victory over the International Sports Academy on Tuesday night at Marsch Gymnasium. Key players included Preston Malpass with 18 points and five rebounds, Jackson Harper with 16 points and three steals, Cuba Smith and Mike Monakhov with 14 points each, and Luca Asanaka and Chuck Wang with 12 points each. Asanaka was in the giving mood and dished out nine assists. The Lakers are now 14-9 overall on the season.

The Lakers shot 54.4% from the field and 8-of-16 from beyond the arc. They converted 17-of-21 free throws and forced 31 turnovers.

Next, they face Anderson High School on Friday at 6:00 PM CT, followed by a home game against HSRC on February 27th, which will also be Senior Night.
