Hammond, IN - The La Lumiere boys and girls cross country team kicked off the 2023 campaign at the Hammond Morton Richard Jay Invitational. Ahan Chawla and Natalie Pieters both turned in solid performances on the day. Pieters placed 18th overall in the girls meet and Chawla firnished 20th overall in the boys division. 

Aneta Vozárová and Anna Balhoff ran their first race for the Lakers and were among the first 30 finishers. Charlie Peck and Davoren Doyle also finished in the top 30.

The Lakers will lace the shoes up on August 29 when they travel to Bremen High School. The meet is scheduled to start at 5:00 PM CST, and will take place at Jane's Park – Woodies Lane, Bremen, IN.
