Sullivan Field
Sullivan Field, dedicated to Larry P. Sullivan in 2004, is the main soccer field at La Lumiere School, reflecting his deep commitment to both the sport and the institution. This field hosts all home soccer games and special events like the Senior Bonfire and Field Day. Previously, it also served as the home for La Lumiere’s football and lacrosse teams in the early 2010s.
Larry P. Sullivan joined La Lumiere in 1964 as a math teacher, where coaching a sport was a requirement. He chose boys' soccer and quickly became known for his passion and dedication. Over his 29-year coaching career, he inspired countless players, achieving over 100 wins. In 1993, he transitioned to become headmaster, stepping away from coaching. After his retirement in 2004, the field was renamed in his honor in 2005, recognizing his lasting impact on the school community.
Situated next to Lake Louise, Sullivan Field continues to be a vibrant center for athletic and school events.
